About RAISE

RAISE is a tool created by The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, in partnership with the Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association.

The tools on this site are absolutely free to use, because of the generosity of Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association and The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.

Our Goal

The Arizona economy is dependent on the effective use and protection of natural resources. Our state has a rich history of cattle growing, ranching, agriculture, and water preservation.

State-wide, and even nationally, there is no place a cattle grower, farmer, or producer can go to find resources, opportunities, and support to ensure their business is successful.

RAISE was created as an innovative, and proactive tool which supports the needs of cattle growers, farmers, and producers.

Opportunity Finder

The Opportunity Finder uses the information you give to pool together opportunities to help your business grow.

Opportunities

Grants and loans can be very difficult to find as they originate from multiple sources. You can search Opportunities by going directly to our Opportunities page and creating your own filters, or you can use the Opportunity Finder so you don’t have to do all the work for yourself.

Resources

University of Arizona Cooperative Extension offers countless resources for cattle growers, farmers, and producers. These include things like: classes, research, expert insight, community events, etc. Our goal is to help you find exactly what you need to help your business grow.

Job Board

Free to post, and free to search. You get to control your posting, screen prospective employees, and reach out for interviews. It can be difficult to find employers and employees in agriculture and ranching. Our goal is to bridge that gap so you can find and recruit qualified employees.

Exchange

We are the only buy/sell marketplace with a sole focus on agriculture and ranching. You won’t have to filter through irrelevant postings to find what you are looking for using our exchange.

University of Arizona Cooperative Extension

Cooperative Extension is one of the pillars of The University of Arizona’s Division of Agriculture, Life & Veterinary Sciences & Cooperative Extension. We are about “Improving Lives, Communities and the Economy” by serving as a statewide network of knowledgeable faculty and staff that provides lifelong educational programs for all Arizonans. We are part of a nationwide educational network of scientists and educators who help people solve problems and put knowledge to use. Arizona Cooperative Extension provides a link between the university and the citizens of this state. Two basic tenets of Cooperative Extension work have been supported through the years. First, Extension’s mission is to “make science useful”. Cooperative Extension believes in the potential value of science and research to improve peoples’ lives. Second, Cooperative Extension is based on the needs of people in communities and counties. Extension work brings people together in local communities to solve local problems.

Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association

ACGA is the oldest and largest association in the state. A member-driven organization that strives to serve, strengthen and advocate for ranchers and the Arizona cattle industry. Arizona’s ranchers are the true stewards of Arizona’s rangelands. ACGA is a proud steward of Arizona’s rich history of ranching families who share common interests including respect for livestock, the land, and the communities they helped build.
